Implementation of SAP HR, payroll and staff scheduling
To maintain its leadership position in a highly volatile and competitive market, Post Denmark uses complex IT tools that can help ensure that their business processes are supported and that their IT infrastructure will never fall short.
Post Denmark’s critical business processes include Salary, time registration and planning systems which are very important when it comes to managing and planning the daily work of more that 26000 employees. Post Denmark decided to renew the underlying systems of these key processes.
SAP Shift Planning, Time Management and KMD Nettoløn were previously all performed by a variety of applications. As a result of the project all processes are now handled in a single SAP solution.
The main objectives were to pay proper wages to all employees and also to achieve effective planning for the daily supply of the 11 million letters and parcels.
Achieving the project’s objectives leads to direct savings, but more importantly it helps deliver better business decisions and accurate management information. The evaluation of the project shows that the full scope has been reached and that all the savings have been realized.
